Background

Ruth has more than 25 years experience as an executive and team coach, and workshop facilitator, working with leaders, owners, senior management teams including working virtually with multi-cultural global teams supporting them through organisational change, rapid growth, succession, starting up and pre/post acquisition. She started up, and for five years was the MD at the UK hub of Insight, an international training company. She was one of the original coaches at The Coaching House, one of the UK’s first executive coaching companies.

Alongside her corporate work, she is one of a small global team of facilitators presenting transformational development seminars around the world to groups of up to 200 people. Ruth has coached over 10,000 people in this dynamic format.

COACHING EXPERTISE

Ruth’s coaching career took off in the early 90’s when she was asked to work with the leadership team at a top ten advertising agency to help them collaborate more effectively, and align powerfully around a shared vision. Following the success of this project, she found her services in demand throughout the UK advertising sector and beyond. She evolved an expertise in galvanising senior management teams, coaching leaders one-to-one, designing and delivering experiential, interactive, transformational workshops for teams and groups. Clients have included Universal Pictures International, Saatchi & Saatchi, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Happen Group, Cello Group, Office of Fair Trading, Team Spirit, and BBC.

Over the years, Ruth has developed her own philosophy, models and coaching style. She prides herself in her ability to listen at the deepest level in order to fully identify and address the core of any issue. She has a special interest in enabling her clients to form, grow and maintain respectful, high-performing relationships inside and outside their teams. She focuses on expanding perspectives to help her clients thrive in ever-increasing complexity, and to discover new realms of possibility beyond perceived and real limitations.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Ruth is an APECS Accredited Executive Coach, has a Master Practitioner Diploma in Systemic Team Coaching with the Academy of Executive Coaching, is an Integral Development Coach with New Ventures West, has diplomas in NLP and Psychosynthesis, is experienced in R2 Strengths Profiler, and is certified in The Leadership Circle and MBTI profiling tools.
